Here is the latest list of cuts to bus services in Hertfordshire. These will take affect on or after 27 March (Easter Sunday). So it’s Happy Easter from Hertfordshire County Council and the Government.
Not only are these services being cut but also some cross-border routes, the 258 (Watford Junction to South Harrow) and the 142 (Watford Junction to Brent Cross). These are run by Transport for London and funded by Hertfordshire County Council for the part of the route that runs in Hertfordshire. The Council’s budget proposal is to cut its budget by £360,000 which means these two routes may no longer run into Hertfordshire.
